Geographic Restrictions

1. Introduction
This page is the list of Restricted Territories published at littlebird.mx that section 4.1 of the LittleBird Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms") refers to. All the territories in sections 2 and 3 are Restricted Territories. Capitalized words that are not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms.
2. Blocked territories
Anyone who lives in or is in any of the following territories may not use LittleBird, and the Company blocks access from them:
- Cuba.
- Iran.
- North Korea.
- Syria.
- The regions of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, in Ukraine.
A User who already has a balance may withdraw it from a place that is not blocked, in accordance with sections 4.1 and 4.5 of the Terms.
3. Territories with limited access
Anyone who lives in or is in any of the following territories may not register, deposit or open new positions:
- Australia.
- Belarus.
- Belgium.
- Brazil.
- Burundi.
- Canada: the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.
- Central African Republic.
- Democratic Republic of the Congo.
- Ethiopia.
- France.
- Germany.
- Hungary.
- Iraq.
- Ireland.
- Italy.
- Japan.
- Lebanon.
- Libya.
- Malta.
- Myanmar.
- Netherlands.
- New Zealand.
- Nicaragua.
- Poland.
- Russia.
- Singapore.
- Slovakia.
- Slovenia.
- Somalia.
- South Korea.
- South Sudan.
- Sudan.
- Taiwan.
- Thailand.
- United Kingdom.
- United States.
- United States Minor Outlying Islands.
- Venezuela.
- Yemen.
- Zimbabwe.
A User who already has an account may continue using it to sell their units, collect their resolved Markets and withdraw their balance, in accordance with sections 4.1 and 4.5 of the Terms.
4. Other Restricted Territories
In addition to the territories on this list, in accordance with section 4.1 of the Terms, a Restricted Territory is also any country or region: (i) subject to comprehensive sanctions of the United Nations or of the United States; (ii) where at least one Third-Party Platform does not allow trading; or (iii) where the law does not allow the use of LittleBird.
The User is responsible for confirming that the law of the place where they live and from which they use LittleBird allows them to use it.
5. Location
To confirm where LittleBird is being used from, the Company uses the User's IP address and approximate location (see section 3 of the Privacy Notice).
The User may not hide their location, for example with a VPN (section 4.1(g) of the Terms). The Company may block access from VPNs, proxy servers and other services that hide location, and, if the User breaches section 4.1(g) of the Terms, take the measures in section 4.4 of the Terms.
6. Changes to this list
The Company may update this list at any time for legal or regulatory reasons. Each new version applies from the moment it is published on this page with its date.
